Convert your Honda OBD1 ECU from Distributor Ignition to Coil-on-Plug (COP).
More ignition power by the 4 separate ignition coils. Ideal for high reving, high power engines or Turbo-conversions. It even can be used on the stock engine to replace the distributor.The distributor must stay in place but will now act as Cam angle sensor only. The aged and known to fail parts like the distributor rotor arm , the cap, ignition coil and ignition module will not be needed any longer. They can be removed.
On the COP1 Kit a control board will be installed into the ECU and provides 4 ignition outputs which are compatible with the Honda K-series Coil-on-Plugs.
COP system is compatible with the stock ECU, every "chipped" ECU and even every piggypack system. Because of the superior design of our COP1 it does not have any Timing-Drift and it will be all the time resynchronized by using the cam angle signals! So our system is even usable with ignition cut!
Not compatible with ECUs which has the Knock-Sensor-Board installed!
Things to note -
* Professional installation of the chip onto the ecu board is required
* The loom in the image might differ slightly from the one you receive
* The chip required to be installed in onto the ecu board is not pictured
* Right now we do not offer a coil plate for the H series
