The ICONIC swivel alloy thermostat housing is mainly used when installing a K-series engine in a vehicle when there are no direct fit radiator and hose kits available. This allows for excellent flexibility on where the coolant outlet faces and in turn the routing of the coolant hoses. It also allows for the installation of AN16 coolant hoses if required. The housing has positions for the Honda coolant temp sensor and Honda fan switch.
Please note the following -
* We upgrade the thermostat used in our product compared to others on the market, this makes it much more reliable as we use a high quality component.
* The housing should be installed onto an original Honda thermostat ''back housing'' ... we do not recommend it being fitted to the water pump housing itself.
* The swivel thermostat housing can be tricky to install and must be sealed using PTFE tape or a high quality liquid sealer , installation should be carried out by a competent trained professional.
