The amazing Doctronic optical cam angle sensor is normally found in the Doctronic Retro fit ecu kit but now we have it available for our customers and tuners!
The CAS unit replaces the distributor unit and allows for the installation of an aftermarket ecu ( Link / Haltech / Omex / Maxx etc ) with external ignition coils. The CAS unit gives the ecu the cam and crank signals without having the run a ''toothed gear'' and external sensor at the crank pulley. Unlike other options on the market which use K series cam angle sensors in a custom housing the Doctronic CAS unit offers 24 Teeth for CRK Signal and 1 for CYL1. This is like the stock Honda OBD1/OBD2 just without the 4 TDC signals.
All in all a fantastic kit to remove the original troublesome distributor unit.
Points to note -
* Included in the CAS unit , plug and pins
* The CAS unit will need to be professionally installed
* The CAS timing will need to be setup
* Will not work with modified OBD1 honda ecu systems
